PAPERS YOU MAY NEED WHEN BUYING A NEW HOME

INCOME DOCUMENTS

IF SALARIED BRING:

1.) W-2 forms from previous three (3) years

2.) Most recent paycheck stubs (the last 30 days)

3.) Previous income tax/1040s from last three (3) years

COMMISSION/BONUS BORROWER(s):

1.) Complete copies of previous three (3) years personal tax returns

2.) Most recent paycheck stubs (the last 30 days)

SELF-EMPLOYED BORROWER(s):

1.) Personal, Partnership, S-Corp and or Corporate Tax Returns for the previous three (3) years — inclusive of all schedules and K-1s

2.) Current signed and dated, year-to-date Financial Statements, including a Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss statement.

ASSETS/LIABILITIES

Copy of past three (3) months statements on the following accounts

a.) Checking

b.) Savings

c.) Brokerage

d.) Money Markets

e.) Retirement

f.) Any Other Assets

G.) If you own Rental property — current lease for each rental unit owned and previous three (3) years tax returns with all schedules.

MISCELLANEOUS:

1.) Residence address(es) for the past five (5) years

2.) Complete mailing address(es) and phone number(s) for Landlord, for previous three (3) years

3.) If you were a previous home owner, bring the Name, address of your Mortgage Co.(s) and Acct. No.(s) of the last Five (5) years.

4.) Copy of Divorce Decree, Separation Agreement and all Addenda for all Divorce Parties.
If Divorce is not final, please provide a copy of the Temporary Orders.

5.) A Check to cover the cost of the Credit report and Appraisal.

6.) VA information CAE OR DD214 OR Bankruptcy Statement.

Also bring a phone book from your local area to use here.
